- Laminator
- Laminating Sheets
- Magnetic Letters
- Cookie Sheet or Magnetic Board
- Dry Erase Markers
To edit this resource, you will need to open the PDF in Adobe Reader on your computer (not a tablet.)
You can then type your students’ names on the cards, but you will not be able to make any other changes to the resource.
Next, print the mat and cards on white card stock and laminate the printables. Then, cut the cards apart.
How to Use the Back to School Name Activity:
Your students will place their name card on the mat and read their name.
Next, they will use magnetic letters to build their name.
Your kids will then use a dry erase marker to write their name.
This Back to School Name Activity is a fun way for your preschoolers and kindergarteners to practice reading, spelling, and writing their names.
Extensions and Modifications:
