Black Bear Paper Plate Craft:
Creating crafts can be a fun way for kids to develop their fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, muscle strength, and much more.
These developmental skills are important, because they will help children be able to hold a pencil, write, and even turn pages in a book.
Crafting is not only fun but also a great way for kids to work on their listening comprehension and following multi-step directions.

How To Make The Black Bear Paper Plate Craft:
Before making this animal craft, read your favorite book about black bears. We love all of the Bruce books like by Ryan T. Higgins but you can pick a non-fiction read aloud too.
To begin making this paper plate craft, cut the black crepe paper or tissue paper into small pieces.
Next, glue the black crepe paper on the paper plate. While the glue is drying, cut out the black bear templates.
If you are using the black and white templates, color the largest circle and the two smallest circles brown. These will be the bear’s snout and the inner part of its ears.
Next, color the two medium size circles and oval black. These will be the bear’s nose and the outer part of its ears. Then, cut out all of the pieces.
After cutting out all of the pieces, glue the large circle toward the bottom and in the center of the paper plate.
Next, glue the oval on the brown circle toward the top of the snout. Then, glue the eyes on the paper plate above the snout.
For the ears, glue the small brown circles onto the black circles. After the glue dries, glue one ear of each side of the paper plate at the top.
Creating this Black Bear Paper Plate Craft is a fun book-inspired activity to make after reading your favorite book about bears. Cutting and gluing is also a great way for kids to work on developing their fine motor skills.
