- Manipulatives (Mini Erasers, Pom Poms, Counters)
- Laminator
- Laminating Sheets
- Dry Erase Markers (optional)
To prepare this letter recognition activity for your preschoolers, fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
After receiving the email with the resource, download and print the worksheets on copy paper. You can then make as many copies as you need for your students.
If you want your kids to reuse this resource, print the worksheets on white card stock and laminate them or place the sheets in dry erase pockets.
How To Use The Camping Alphabet Worksheets for Preschool:
For this letter recognition activity, your kids will start by saying the names of the capital and lowercase letters on the top of their worksheets. They can practice tracing them too.
Next, your children will identify the camping-themed picture. You can teach them that the picture begins with the sound that the letter makes.
Then, your preschoolers and kindergarteners will then begin at the “start” or the first box on the worksheet and color in the square with a dot marker or crayon.
They will will continue coloring the boxes with the same capital and lowercase letters as they follow the the maze.
Your kids can also cover the letters using small manipulatives such as mini erasers, pom poms, or even marshmallows.
If you made this into a reusable activity by laminating the worksheets, your children can color the letters with a dry erase marker.
