How To Use The Christmas Cat Growth Mindset Writing Activity:
After reading the book Pete the Cat Saves Christmas by Eric Litwin and James Dean, you can brainstorm ideas with your class about what they can accomplish if they give it their all!
Next, your kids will write their response to one of the writing prompts: “I am small but I can…” or “I will give it my all…”
After writing, your children will color and cut out the cat’s head. They will then glue it onto the top of their writing paper.
Your students can share their stories and then you can hang their Christmas cats in the hallway for the entire school to see!
