How To Use The Christmas Gift Tag Cutting Activity:
To begin this fine motor activity, your kids will pick one or more of the Christmas gift tags to color.
After coloring, they will cut their gift tags out. If your kids are just learning how to use scissors, it is helpful to have extra copies of the printables.
Your children can also practice writing the name of the person who the present is for and who the present is from. Next, they can use a hole punch to punch a hole through the gift tag.
Then, your kids can cut a piece of ribbon or yarn that is about five inches long. They will then put one end of the ribbon through the hole and tie a knot at the end to create a loop.
Finally, your children can attach their gift tags to their presents. You can also turn the gift tags that they make into Christmas ornaments!
