Christmas Sight Word Bingo Game:

Playing fun games like this Christmas Sight Word Bingo is an engaging and entertaining way for your children to learn the challenging and common words called sight words.

What Are Sight Words?

There are two different types of sight words. First, there are words that don’t follow the phonics “rules” so kids need to memorize them.

There are also words that are frequently used in writing so it is easier for children to remember them. That way, they can build fluency and don’t have to sound them out every time they are reading.

How To Play The Christmas Sight Word Bingo Game:

To begin playing this sight word bingo game, your children will each select a bingo card. You may want to review the sight words on the cards before playing, so your kids can practice reading any unknown words.

Next, you or the bingo caller will select a calling card and read the sight word on it. Your children will then look for the sight word on their bingo card. If they have the sight word on their card, they will cover it with a marker.
