To get this letter recognition activity ready for your students to use, fill out the form below.
After receiving the email with the resource, download and print the mat and cards on white card stock.
Next, laminate the printables and cut out the tree and ornaments.
How to Use the Christmas Tree Find the Letter Activity:
First, your students will pick an ornament card and identify the capital letter on it.
Next, they will find the matching lowercase letter on the Christmas tree and cover it with a magnetic chip.
Your kids will continue to pick capital letter ornament cards and finding the matching lowercase letters on the tree until it is filled with ornaments.
When their tree is filled with ornaments, they can wave the magnetic wand over the tree and pick up all of the chips.
Your young learners can also cover the lowercase letters on the tree with other manipulatives such as pom poms or mini erasers.
This Christmas Tree Letter Find Activity is a fun and festive way for your preschoolers and kindergarteners to practice identifying and matching lowercase and capital letters this holiday season.
