How To Use The Cookie Letter Order Activity:
To begin this alphabet activity, your kids will pick a milk card and say the names of the letters on it. For example, they may pick the card with “K” and “M.”
Next, your preschoolers will place the first letter on the card (the “K”) on the left-hand side of the cookie sheet.
They will then place the second letter on the card (the “M”) on the right-hand side of the cookie sheet.
After putting the letters on the cookie sheets, your pre-readers will sort through the cookie letters and find the one (the “L”) that goes in between the two letters. They will then place the letter on the cookie sheet.
Your preschoolers will continue practicing letter order until they have used all of the milk cards.
This Cookie Letter Order Activity is a fun, hands-on way for your preschoolers and kindergartners to practice letter recognition and letter order!
