How To Make A Cotton Ball Rainbow Painting Craft:
What’s Needed:
- Paint
- Cotton Balls
- Clothespins
- White Card Stock
- Glue
- Scissors
- Canvas (optional)
This rainbow craft is very quick and easy to set-up. Simply, pour different colors of paint on to a paper plate and clip cotton balls with the clothespins. To prevent your students from mixing the colors, you can use a paint tray or muffin pan too.
How To Make:
To begin making their rainbows, your students will dab the cotton ball into the paint.
Then, they will dab the cotton ball onto a canvas or piece of thick white paper.
Make the shape of a traditional rainbow, a rainbow shooting across the sky or just have fun with the colors and make your own masterpiece!
Next, your students will repeat the above steps with all of the others colors.
After the paint to dries completely, they will cut cloud shapes from white card stock and glue onto the canvas. Finally, your students can hang their finished rainbow craft around your classroom or on a bulletin board for a colorful decoration to enjoy.
