- White Card Stock
- Scissors
- Paper Bag or Cardboard Box
- Glue

Next, download and print the cow and grass cards on white card stock.
If you want your students to reuse this activity, laminate the printables. Then, cut out the cow and grass.
Finally, tape or glue the cow onto a paper bag or cardboard box (such as a small tissue box) and cut out its mouth.
How to Use the Cow Alphabet Identification Activity:
For this alphabet identification activity, your preschoolers and kindergarteners will first pick a grass card.
They will then say the name of the capital or lowercase letter on it as they “feed” it to the cow.
If your young learners have just started learning the names of the letters, start with just a few cards. You can add more as their letter knowledge increases.
They can also work on saying the letter sounds as they feed the cow.
