How To Make The Cupcake Liner Christmas Tree Ornament Craft:
To begin making this Christmas craft for kids, cut a triangle that is about three and a half inches tall out of white card stock. If you are creating this ornament with young children, you may want to make a triangle template that they can trace.
Next, fold cupcake liners in half and then fold them in half again so they form a triangle. You will use about 6 cupcake liners per ornament depending on the size of your triangle.
After folding the cupcake liners, glue a row of cupcake liners across the bottom of the triangle. Then, glue another row of cupcake liners onto the triangle, slightly overlapping the bottom row. You will continue to glue on cupcake liners till the entire triangle is covered.
While the glue dries, cut a star out of the yellow craft foam and glue it to the top of the triangle. You can use a foam star sticker too.
Next, cut a piece of ribbon or yarn that is about 5 inches long. Then, fold it in half to create a loop and glue the ends of it on the back of the card stock.
