This Dinosaur Terrarium is one craft that can literally last forever!
This Dinosaur Terrarium craft holds a special place near and dear to my heart. First off, it’s downright adorable. I mean, seriously…look at just how cute it is! The other reason that I’m crazy over this craft? It’s something that my kiddo and I can make and it will last FOREVER.
Truth be told, we’ve crafted so many things that I literally don’t have space for much more…but this one? It fits perfectly on a shelf or counter with ease and looks really, really cool as well.
Making a terrarium is actually quite fun, but when you pair it up with a dinosaur, it’s seriously a whole other level. We’ve made this for our own pleasure at home, but I also think that this would be a really fun gift to give someone or even as a group craft at a birthday party, too.
However you decide to make this dinosaur craft, have fun and be creative! The great part about it is that you can make this terrarium look any way that you want too! And remember, it’s a craft that you can treasure and cherish for forever!
How To Make A Dinosaur Terrarium:
What’s Needed:
- Mini Plastic Toy Dinosaurs
- Glass Jar
- Moss
- Fake Plants
- Sand
- Blue Pebbles
- Small Rocks
- Fairy Lights
- Glue
- Scissors
- Foam
How To Make:
To begin making the terrarium, cover the bottom of the jar with moss, sand, rocks, and blue pebbles. Next, coat a piece of foam with glue and cover it in moss. Then, attach a fake tree and a mini dinosaur. After it dries, glue the foam inside the jar.
Use the materials and your creativity to design your unique terrarium. There’s no wrong or right way! You can even include grass, sticks, leaves etc from outside. To create a fun night light, add battery operated fairy lights to the jar.
