What You'll Find On This Page
Doctor Puppets:
Creating crafts can be a fun way for kids to develop their fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, muscle strength, and much more. These developmental skills are important, because they will help children be able to hold a pencil, write, and even turn pages in a book.
How To Make A Puppet?
There are a lot of different ways to make a puppet. First, you need to decide on what kind of puppet you want your kids to create. Is it going to be a book-inspired puppet, seasonal craft, or just a creative project?
Next, look at the craft supplies that you have and determine what you want to use to create your puppet. Puppets can be made from a variety of materials such as felt, construction paper, craft sticks, paper bags, craft foam, tissue paper, and much more.
Finally, you can look for a template to use to help your kids create the craft or they can make their own on their own. Most importantly, have fun creating!

How To Make The Doctor Puppets:
After reading The Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor by Stan and Jan Berenstain or another book about doctors, your kids will begin making this craft. First, they will pick the male or female doctor template and color it.
Next, your kids will cut out the doctor’s head and body. They will then glue the pieces onto a paper bag.
Finally, your kids can write about a time that they went to the doctors, a thank you note to someone they know in the medical field, or even an acrostic poem about doctors. They will then glue their paper onto the back of their puppet.
These Doctor Puppets are creative crafts for your kids to create after reading your favorite book about visiting a doctor’s office.
