Dr. Seuss Quotes Copywork:

Did you know that Dr. Seuss wrote over 60 books? We all know and love his silly stories and whimsical characters in books such as The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham.

But throughout his books, he wrote many motivational and inspirational sayings for both kids and adults alike. In this writing activity, your kids will enjoy reading and writing these growth mindset quotes from Dr. Seuss.

What is Copywork?

Copywork is when your children copy a quote or a selection from literature onto a piece of paper or notebook. As they write, your kids use their best handwriting to create a “perfect copy” with the correct word spacing, capitalization, and punctuation marks.

As your children are writing, you can teach them about the writing styles, structures, and mechanics. Through copywork, your kids are working on the skills that will help them become fluent writers.
