How To Use The Earth Day Alphabet Mats:
For this Earth Day activity, your preschooler and kindergarteners will select a mat and identify the picture on it.
Next, they will say the name of the letter and the sound it makes. You can also show your kids that the picture begins with that sound.
Then, they will use dough to form the capital and lowercase letter and the picture.
Using a dry erase marker, your students will trace over the letters.
On the “Ee is for Earth” mat, your children will identify the picture of the Earth and the capital and lowercase letter E.
They will then use dough to form the picture and letters. Finally, your kids will trace over the letters.
These Earth Day Alphabet Mats are a fun way for your kids to work on letter recognition and formation this April.
