- Blue Card Stock or Construction Paper
- Crayons or Markers

- Paper Straws
- Earth Template (click on the pencil below)
This simple flower craft requires very little prep work. Simply print the template and make enough copies so each students has one Earth. Then, gather all of your supplies.
How To Make:
To begin making this Earth Day craft, your students will color the Earth blue and green with the crayons or markers. They will then cut out their colored planet.
Next, your kids will cut out small leaves from green card stock or construction paper.
Then, they will flatten a white cupcake liner and fold it in half. Your students will fold the cupcake liner three more times. After folding, they will round the top of the folded cupcake liner with the scissors. Your kids will repeat these steps with using another cupcake liner.
After cutting, your students will glue their two cupcake liners together. They will then glue the Earth on the center of the cupcake liners. Next, your kids will glue a paper straw onto a piece of blue card stock or construction paper. They will then glue the flower onto the paper straw.
Finally, your students will glue the leaves onto the card stock next to the paper straw.
Earth Day is the perfect time to remind your students how important it is to take care of our planet. This Earth Day Flower Craft is not only a fun way to celebrate the upcoming holiday, but it’s also a great way to show your students how Earth and nature are connected.
