Easter Alphabet Clip Cards

Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will be “hopping” with excitement to learn the ABC’s using these Easter Alphabet Clip Cards!

Easter literacy activities like this one are a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice identifying and matching letters.

As the clip the clothespins on the cards, your kids will also work on developing their fine motor skills.

Your students can use this letter recognition activity independently during your morning tub time this March or April.

You can also add this activity to your literacy centers or early finisher bins. Or, use it during your small groups or as a intervention resource.

What Else Is Needed:

To get this letter recognition activity ready for your students to use, fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Next, download and print the cards on white card stock. Then, laminate the printables and cut the cards out.

You can store the clip cards and clothespins in a box or pouch for an easy to set up literacy center or early finisher activity.

How To Use The Easter Bunny Alphabet Clip Cards:

First, your students will pick a card and say the name of the capital letter that is on the bunny’s sign.

Next, they will find the matching capital letter and clip a clothespin on it.

Letter Recognition Activity

Your kids will then continue to identify the letters on the cards and clip a clothespin on the matching one until they complete the activity.

Extensions and Modifications:

You can extend or modify this activity to meet the needs of your students:

  • If your kids know all of the letter names, they can practice saying the sound that it makes as they clip a clothespin on it.
  • Your students can cover the letters using small manipulatives and jumbo tweezers or letter tiles too.

With these Easter Alphabet Clip Cards, your preschoolers and kindergarteners will practice naming and matching letters.
