- White Card Stock or Copy Paper
- Laminator and Laminating Pouches
- Scissors
- Glue

I like to print my resources on white card stock, because it is more durable. But, you can use copy paper too.
Next. laminate the mat or place it in a dry erase pocket, so your kids can reuse this activity over and over.
To prepare the die, cut it out, fold the tabs, and glue or tape it together to create a cube.
For the ducks, your kids can also use the ducks that are included. All you need to do is laminate the printable and cut them out. Your children can also use plastic ducks.
How To Use The Five Little Ducks Addition Activity:
After reading the book Five Little Ducks, your kids will roll a die and count the number of ducks from zero to five. Next, they will count that number of ducks and put them on the pond. Your children will then write that number in the first box.
Next, your kids will roll the die again and count the number of ducks. Next, they will count that number of ducks and place them on the pond. Your children will then write the number in the second box.
Finally, your young learners will add the two numbers together and write the sum in the third box.
