Grinch Cookies

Grinch Cookie Pops:

In our house, we love everything “Grinch”. While he may have a heart that is two sizes too small, we do believe that he’s full of love and goodness as well. (And, the movie totally showcases that in the end!)

Anytime we read a Dr. Seuss book, my kids ask to make these sweet Grinch Cookie Pops. Not only have we made them for ourselves to enjoy, but they make a really great treats to hand out to others as well.

Getting Ready To Make The Grinch Cookie Pops:

What’s Needed:

  • Nutter Butter Cookies
  • Craft Sticks
  • Package of Wilton Green Candy Melts
  • Yellow M&M’s
  • Wilton Black Icing

How To Make Grinch Cookie Pops:

To begin making these Grinch cookies, pour the 10 oz package of Wilton candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Next, heat the bowl in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until melted. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

After the chocolate is melted, gently pry apart each Nutter Butter cookie. Next, dip the end of one craft stick into the melted chocolate and place the chocolate end on the opened cookie and return the top and gently place on the baking sheet.

You will then repeat this step with all of the cookies and then place the cookie sheet in the fridge for 20 minutes to set.

After the chocolate have set. re-melt the chocolate if needed and dip each Nutter Butter into the melted chocolate letting the excess drip back into the bowl.

Next, place the cookie on the baking sheet and repeat until all cookies are dipped. Then, place in the fridge again to let the chocolate set.

Once set, give each Grinch 2 eyes using the yellow M&M’s and a small dollop of black icing. Finally, give each Grinch a black nose and a mouth.

These Grinch Cookie Pops are not only fun to make but a scrumptious treat to eat too! Your kids will love celebrating Ginch Day or Dr. Seuss Day with these sweet treats!
