This letter search activity will help your children practice letter knowledge such as identifying the letter names and shapes.

- 1 Gumball Machine Capital Letter Search Mat
- 26 Kids Blowing Bubbles Lowercase Letter Cards
What Else Is Needed:
For a reproducible activity:
- White Copy Paper
- Scissors
- Crayons
- Bingo Dauber (optional)
For a reusable activity:
- White Card Stock
- Scissors
- Laminator
- Laminating Pouches
- Small Manipulatives
To set this letter search activity up for your preschoolers to complete, fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
After filling out the form, download and print the worksheet that you want to use (there is one in color and one in black and white) on copy paper.
Next, print the kids blowing bubbles cards on white card stock. If you are using the mat, you will also want to print it on white card stock.
Then, laminate the mat and cards and cut the cards apart. You can also place the mat in a dry erase pocket.
Finally, make copies of the worksheets for all of your students.
How To Use The Gumball Letter Search Activity:
For this letter recognition activity, your pre-readers will first pick a kid blowing a bubble card and identify the lowercase letter on it.
Next, your children will look for the matching capital letter on the gumball machine worksheet.
When your kids find the correct letter, they will color it with either a crayon or a Bingo dauber.
If your students are using the mat or colored worksheet, they can cover the letters with small manipulatives like mini erasers, Bingo chips, or pom poms.
Your preschoolers will then select more cards one-by-one until they have found all the matching letters on the mat or worksheet.
