How to Use the Halloween Initial Sounds Activity:
For this beginning sounds activity, your preschoolers and kindergarteners will first pick a Halloween candy picture card out the of treat pail or bag.

Next, they will identify the picture on it and the letter and sound that it begins with.

Then, your students will find the letter that makes the picture’s beginning sound on their recording sheet and color or cover it.

For example, your kids select the candy cards with the picture of the “ant” on it. They will then find the letter “a” on their recording sheet and color it.
They will continue to pick treats out of the pail or bag and mark the letters for the initial sounds on their recording sheet until they complete the activity.
