How to Use the How to Build a Snowman Writing Activity:
First, your students can use the word web, outline, and vocabulary cards to pre-write. They will develop and organize their ideas.
Next, they can use the writing paper to write their rough draft on how to build a snowman.
To create the craft, your kids will write each step to build a snowman on the snowballs.
They will then staple the snowballs together to create the snowman’s body.
After stapling the snowballs together, your students will cut out and color the snowman’s head, hat, scarf, buttons, and arms.
They will then glue all of the pieces to the snowman’s body to create a flip book.
If your students do not know how to build a snowman, you can use the sequencing worksheets to help them learn the steps and process.
