For this reading activity, all you need is a sheet of paper, some crayons, and a pencil.

After printing the freebie, simply fold the paper in half, and then in half again to create a little booklet.

This printable book is a simple activity for young learners to do in elementary classrooms or at home.

Next, download and print the printable on white copy paper. Then, make as many copies as you need for your students.

To turn this printable into a book, fold the piece of paper in half. Finally, fold the piece of paper in half again to create a little book.  

How to Use the Letter A Foldable Book:

First, your kids will identify the capital and lowercase letters on the cover of their book and read, “Letter Aa Book.”

Next, they can say the sounds that the letter makes, color the capital and lowercase letters, and write their name on the cover.

Then, your children will turn the page and read, “Aa is for apple.” They will then color the picture of the apple and trace the word. 

After reading the first page, they will read, “Aa is for acorn” on the second page, color the picture, and trace the word.

Finally, your beginning readers will turn the page and read, “Aa is for ant.”  They will color the picture and trace the word.
