Letter F Fox Craft

What does the fox say? Okay, now that you can’t get that song out of your head (you’re welcome!), it’s time to talk about just how much fun and educational this Letter F Fox Craft can be to create.

There’s no denying the adorableness of this letter craft, but you can add a ton of interesting fox facts as well to fill your students full of useful information! Reading books about foxes like the ones listed below can be a really great addition to this simple fox craft. Pairing educational age-appropriate book up with crafts ensures that craft time can also be a great educational time as well.

How To Make A Letter F Fox Craft:

Supplies:

  • Letter F and Fox Templates
  • Printer
  • Craft Foam
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Black Marker
  • Paper or Card Stock
  • Googly Eyes

To prepare for this activity, download the letter F and fox templates (click on the pencil below) and print them onto paper or card stock. Next, cut the letter templates out. If you are making these with a group of children, you may want to make a few letter templates. I usually make one or two per table so the students can take turns and share.

Directions:

To begin the activity, your students will trace the letter F onto a piece of craft foam and cut it out. They will then trace the fox template onto craft foam and cut it out.

After cutting the pieces out of the craft foam, your students will put the fox together. First, they will glue the white portion of the tail and face onto the fox.

Next, your students will glue the legs, nose, and pink portion of the ears onto the fox. They will then glue the googly eyes on the center of their animal. As an option, they can outline the fox with a black marker to make it stand out more too.

Finally, your students will glue the fox to the letter F.
