What Else Is Needed:
- Copy Paper
- Card Stock
- Scissors
At the bottom of this page, fill out the form and download the free printable letter recognition assessment.
Next, print the assessment recording sheet that you want to use on copy paper and print the letter cards on card stock. Then, cut the cards apart.

You can punch a hole in the corner of each card and put a ring through them to make it easy for you and your kids to flip through the deck.
Ways To Use The Alphabet Assessment:
To check if your children are learning the letters of the alphabet, show them one of the cards with a letter you have taught.
If they know the letter name, you can mark it on the first recording sheet.
On the other recording sheet, there is a space for you to write the date or make a comment.

You can also assess and track whether your students know the letter sounds.
