Next, download and print the puzzles on card stock. There is one set in color and one in black and white.
Then, laminate the puzzles and cut them apart. You can store them in a small bag or box such as a pencil pouch or box.
How To Use This Letter Recognition Activity:
Your kids will select a piece of a puzzle and identify the capital or lowercase letter on it.
Next, they will search through the other pieces to find the matching letter.
After finding the match, they will put the two puzzles pieces together.
For even more fun, you can put the puzzle pieces in a sensory bin or put them around the room for a scavenger hunt.
As your children put the puzzles together, they can practice saying the sounds that the letter makes too.
