Marshmallow Peeps Play Dough:
What does play dough have to do with literacy? Actually, there are so many benefits to playing with play dough! By squeezing, rolling, and squishing the dough, your kids will develop their fine motor skills and strengthen their hand muscles. The development of these will help them learn to write and improve other pre-writing skills.
Your kids can practice forming letters or writing the alphabet in the play dough using a pencil or stick. If your children are learning the letter sounds, give them a sound or show them a picture and have them write the letter for that sound in the play dough.
