Why Are Fine Motor Skills Important?

From holding a pencil to turning the pages in a book, kids use their fine motor skills as they are learning to read and write.

The development of the small muscles in the hands and fingers in coordination with the eyes is important in not only children’s learning but also in their everyday life.

How To Make The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Craft:

To begin creating this craft, your kids will place a piece of black card stock or construction paper inside the empty box.

Next, they will use the glue to create fireworks patterns on the paper. You want to show your kids pictures of different fireworks and talk about the shapes, patterns, and colors.

After creating each firework, your kids will sprinkle glitter over the top of the glue until it is completely covered. You can also try using sand instead of glitter
