How to Use the Popcorn Letter Recognition Activity:
First, your young learners will pick a butter card and identify the capital or lowercase letter on it.
They will put it in the popcorn box through its mouth if they correctly say the name of the letter.
If your kids do not recognize the letter, you can teach them the name and put the card back into the pile.
If your students are just starting to work on letter recognition, start with just a few capital or lowercase cards.
As they learn to identify the letters by their shapes and names, you can add more cards to this activity.
If your young learners know all the letter names, they can practice saying their sounds as they put the cards in the box.
This Popcorn Letter Recognition Activity can easily be differentiated for all of your students in your classroom.
