How To Use The Pumpkin Seed Addition Activity:
For this hands-on activity, your children will pick a pumpkin seed and read the addition fact on it.
Next, your kids will say the answer to the problem as they “feed” the pumpkin or put the seed in it.
If your young learners are just starting to learn their facts, you can start with just a few seeds. When they know those facts, you can add a few more every time they play.
You can also have your children use real pumpkin seeds to help them add the numbers on the card.
As your kids are working, they can write the addition problems and answers on the recording sheet too.
This Pumpkin Seed Addition Activity is a fun, book-inspired activity that will help your young learners practice adding to 10 after reading their favorite pumpkin story.
