Next, laminate the Christmas cookies so your kids can use them over and over. Then, cut the Santa and cookies out.
Finally, tape or glue Santa on a paper bag or cardboard box (such as a small tissue box) and cut out his mouth.
How To Use The Santa Recognition Activity:
To begin this alphabet activity, your preschoolers will select a Christmas cookie and identify the letter on it as they feed it to Santa.
If your kids are just starting to learn the names of the letters, start with just a few cookies. You can then add a couple more every time they play.
When your kids know all of the letter names, they can say the sound that each letter makes as they feed Santa. It’s easy to differentiate this activity for your kids!
This Santa Letter Recognition Activity is a fun, hands-on way for preschoolers to practice identifying capital and lowercase letters!
