Next, download and print the letter mats that you want your children to use.

Then, laminate the mats so your kids can reuse this activity or place them in dry erase pockets.

How To Use The Space Letter Writing Mats:

To use this writing activity, your pre-writers and beginning writers will pick a mat and identify the capital letter on it.

They will then start at the rocket and trace the letter using a dry erase marker.

When your preschoolers reach the moon, they have finished writing the letter.

Finally, your kids can trace the letters at the bottom of the mat for extra letter formation practice.  

For even more fun, your children can use a small space toy such as a rocket or an astronaut to trace the letter.

They can also form the letter using mini erasers, play dough, pom poms, or any other small manipulative. There are so many different ways to use these letter mats!
