After receiving the email with the printables, download and print the cards on white card stock.

Then, laminate the cards so your kids can reuse this activity.

After laminating, cut the cards apart. Finally, punch holes on all of the black dots.

You can store the cards and plastic links in a pencil box or pouch for a fun literacy activity that is easy to set up or take on the go. 

How to Use the Shark Sequencing Cards:

After reading the book There Was an Old Mermaid Who Swallowed a Shark by Lucille Colando, your kids can put the ocean animals that the old mermaid swallowed in order.

For help, they can go back through the book and look at the pictures to recall the items.

First, your young learners will start with the old mermaid and connect all of the pictures in sequential order using plastic links.
