Tie Dye Coffee Filter Christmas Tree Craft:
Creating crafts can be a fun way for kids to develop their fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, muscle strength, and much more. These developmental skills are important, because they will help children be able to hold a pencil, write, and even turn pages in a book.

How To Make The Tie Dye Coffee Filter Christmas Tree Craft:
To begin making this Christmas craft, your kids will flatten a coffee filter and place it on a paper plate.
Then, they will color it with washable markers. They can use just the green marker or add different colors to make it look like lights and ornaments. They don’t have to color the entire coffee filter completely, because the colors will spread and blend together.
Next, your children will spray the colored coffee filter with water. They should use just enough water to make the colors blend together.
This can be a little messy so they should spray the coffee filter on a washable work surface. After spraying it with water, let the coffee filter dry completely.
Then, your kids will fold the coffee filter in half and then fold it in half again to create a triangle shape. You may want to add a dap of glue to hold it together.
Next, your children will add a yellow foam star sticker. They can also make their own star by cutting one out of yellow craft foam.
If you want to turn this Christmas craft into an ornament, your kids can cut a piece of yarn or ribbon that is about 3 inches long. Then, they will fold it to create a loop and glue it to the back of the tree.
This Tie Dye Coffee Filter Christmas Tree Craft is a creative process art activity for your kids to create this holiday season!
