Are you looking for a fun letter recognition and sensory activity for your preschoolers and kindergarteners to do this summer?

They are sure to “dig” this Construction Alphabet Sensory Bin as they work on learning the ABC’s through sensory play.

Step 1:

First, write the capital and lowercase letters on rocks using a paint pen.

Step 2:

Next, fill a sensory bin with sand and place the rocks in it. You can add construction toys too.

Step 3:

Then, print the free printable letter cards on white card stock and cut them apart. You can laminate them too.

Step 4:

Your children will pick a card and identify the letter on the sign that the construction kid is holding.

Step 5:

Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will then find the rock in the sensory bin with the matching letter.
