ABC's of Literacy

Are you looking for a community helpers activity that will also help your kids practice identifying capital and lowercase letters?

Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will have fun learning the ABC’s as they “put out the fires” in this Firefighter Letter Find Activity!

Step 1:

First, your preschoolers will pick a firefighter letter card and identify the capital letter on it.

Step 2:

Your students will then find the matching lowercase letter on their worksheet.

Tip: 

They can also cover the letter using a manipulative such as a pom pom, snap cube, or mini eraser.

Step 3:

Your kids will continue to pick cards and cover the letters until they put out all the fires.

Tip:

This activity can be added to your community helper unit or used during fire safety week.
