This printable book is easy to prep for your students, fun to read as a class, and a great way to introduce the different pumpkin parts to your kids!

Step 1:

First, ask your kids to use the illustration to guess what the book is going to be about and have them point to the title.

Step 2:

Next, you can have them turn to the first page and point to the words as your read.

Tip:

You can also point out other concepts of print such as capital letters, punctuation marks, and sentences.

Step 3:

Then, your kids can work on reading the book independently and color the pictures of the pumpkin parts.

Step 4:

You can send the book home with your students so they can read it with their families for even more practice.
