Kick-off the beginning of summer with this fun-filled themed Picnic Alphabet Sensory Bin!

Hands-on activities like this one are a fun way for kids to work on learning the ABC’s and add more sensory play into your day.

Step 1:

First, print the free printable picnic letter cards and recording sheets. Cut the cards apart.

Step 2:

Next, fill a sensory bin with green shredded paper. Put the picnic letter cards in the sensory bin.

Step 3:

For this alphabet activity, your kids will pick a picnic-themed card out of the bin and identify the letter.

Step 4:

Then, they will mark the letter that they picked on their recording sheet by coloring in the circle.

Step 5:

Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will continue marking the letters until they find them all.
