Step 1:
First, read the book, "How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin? by Margaret McNamara or another story.
Step 2:
After assembling the activity, your kids will pick a pumpkin seed and read the addition fact on it.
Step 3:
Your kids will say the answer to the problem as they “feed” the pumpkin or put the seed in it.
Tip:
You can also have your children use real pumpkin seeds to help them add the numbers on the card.
Step 4:
Your students will continue feeding the pumpkin until they solve all the addition problems.
