Your preschoolers and kindergarteners can use this fun, hands-on resource to practice naming capital and lowercase letters.

Step 1:
First, visit ABC's of Literacy to download the free printables. Then, print the resource.
Step 2:
Next, cut out the squirrel and acorn cards. Glue the squirrel to a paper bag and cut out its mouth.
Tip:
You can sort the cards into groups with a few in each and have your children work on one at a time.
Step 3:
Your kids will pick a card and say the name of the capital or lowercase letter on it as they feed the squirrel.
Tip:
If your children know the letter names, they can practice saying the sounds they make too.
