ABC's of Literacy

Celebrate National Pick Strawberries Day and work on learning the ABC’s with this Strawberry Letter Recognition Activity!

For even more fun, add the strawberries to a sensory bin so your preschoolers and kindergarteners can “pick” the berries.

Step 1:

First, print the free printable strawberries and recording sheets. Cut the strawberries apart.

Step 2:

Next, fill a sensory bin with green shredded paper. Put the strawberries in the sensory bin.

Step 3:

For this alphabet activity, your kids will pick a strawberry out of the bin and identify the letter on it.

Step 4:

Then, they will mark the letter that they picked on their recording sheet by coloring in the circle.

Step 5:

Your preschoolers and kindergarteners can also write the letters on the blank recording sheet.
