ABC's of Literacy

Are your preschoolers and kindergarteners working on learning the ABC's this summer?

This Sun Letter Recognition Activity is an entertaining and engaging way for them to practicing identifying capital and lowercase letters.

Step 1:

First, print the free printable suns and recording sheets. Then, cut the suns out.

Step 2:

Next, fill a sensory bin with blue shredded paper and cotton balls. Then, put the suns in the sensory bin.

Step 3:

For this alphabet activity, your kids will pick a sun out of the bin and identify the letter on it.

Step 4:

Then, they will mark the letter that they picked on their recording sheet by coloring in the circle.

Step 5:

Your preschoolers and kindergarteners can also write the letters on the blank recording sheet.
