Next, download and print the cards on white card stock or copy paper. After printing the cards, laminate and cut them apart.
For an easy literacy center or morning tub to set up, store the cards, dry erase markers, and clothespins in a small box or bag.
Ways To Use The Earth Day Letter Recognition Cards:
For this alphabet activity, your children will select a card and identify the capital letter on it.
Next, they will use a dry erase marker to trace the letter. Your kids will start at the tree and end at the Earth to practice forming the letters correctly.
After tracing the letters, your children will then find the matching lowercase letter on the Earths and clip a clothespin on it.
They can also cover the Earth with a small manipulative such as a mini eraser, pom pom, or counter.
