Next, download and print the craft template and writing paper that you want to use on paper.
The craft templates are in color or black and white, and the writing paper has two different lines.
You can then make as many copies as you need for your students and gather the rest of the supplies.
How To Use The Melted Snowman Craft & Writing Activity:
If you are using the black and white craft template, your kids can color the parts of a snowman.
On the template, there are pictures of a snow pile, a top hat, two coal eyes, a carrot nose, two branches for arms, a scarf, and three buttons.
After coloring, your children will cut out all the pieces and glue them onto the writing paper to create their melted snowman.
They will then finish the writing prompt, “Oh, no! The snowman melted because….” by writing their reason on the line.
If you are a teacher, you can hang your students’ crafts on a bulletin board in the hallway or in your classroom for your whole school to see.
