Next, download and print (be sure to open the PDF in Adobe before printing) the mats on white card stock or copy paper.

I like to print two mats per piece of paper and then cut them apart.
Then, laminate the mats or place them in dry erase pockets, so your students can use this resource over and over again.
How to Use the Link Alphabet Letter Mats:
First, your students will pick a mat and identify the capital letter on it.

Next, they will connect the links together to form the letter on their mat.
Then, your kids can identify the picture and it’s beginning sound. You can teach them that the letter that they formed makes that sound.

Finally, your preschoolers and kindergarteners will use a dry erase marker to trace over the letters.

These Link Capital Letter Mats are a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice forming and writing letters independently.
