To prepare this rhyming activity for your students, fill out the form below.
Next, download and print the puzzles on white card stock.

Then, laminate the puzzles and cut them apart.
How to Use the Pumpkin Rhyming Puzzles:
First, your students will pick a puzzle piece and identify the picture on it.
Next, they will sort through the other puzzle pieces to find the one with the picture that rhymes.

Then, your kids will put the two puzzle pieces together to create a pumpkin.
The rhyming words include:
Medial Sound A: hat and bat, map and cap, can and fan, ham and jam
Medial Sound E: red and bed, jet and net, ten and pen, leg and peg
Medial Sound I: bib and rib, dig and pig, pit and sit, six and mix
Medial Sound O: pot and hot, fog and log, pop and mop, box and fox
Medial Sound U: cub and sub, rug and bug, nun and sun, cut and nut
