How To Use The Back-to-School Preschool Worksheets:
School Supply Tracing– Your preschoolers will work on developing their fine motor skills and pencil grip as they practice tracing the glue bottle, scissors, crayon, and pencil.
Different School Supplies– As a way to practice visual discrimination, your kids will look at the four school supplies in each row and color the one that is different from the other three.
Glue Dots– Your students will practice using “Just a DOT! Not a Lot!” of glue as they carefully put a dot of glue on each black dot. This is also a great way for kids to develop their hand and eye coordination and finger muscle strength.
Comparing School Supplies– Another fun way to work on visual discrimination is by comparing sizes. On this worksheet, your preschoolers will look at the two school supplies in each box and color which one is bigger.
Crayon Box Shapes– For this activity, your preschoolers will look at the crayon box shapes on the left side of the paper. They will then find the matching shape on the right side of the paper and draw a line to connect the two crayon boxes together.
Crayon Box Letters & Numbers Sort– Your preschoolers will practice number and letter recognition during this fun, hands-on activity. First, they will cut the letter and numbers apart. They will then sort and glue the letters in the first crayon box and the numbers in the second crayon box.
Counting Crayons– Your kids will practice counting the number of crayons in each box. They will then cut the numbers out and glue them next to the correct crayon box.
