After receiving the email with the resource, download and print the presents on white card stock.

Next, laminate the printables if you want your kids to reuse this activity. Then, cut out the presents.
How to Use the Christmas Present CVC Words Activity:
First, your students will first pick a card and identify the picture on it.

Next, they will sort through all of the Christmas present tops until they find the word that matches the picture.
If your kids select the card with the picture of the dog, for example, they will then look for the card that says “dog.”

If your children are just starting to learn how to read CVC words, give them a few cards at a time until they learn the words.
You can add more words every time they do this activity and become confident reading the consonant-vowel-consonant words.
Your kids will continue matching the pictures and CVC words together until they have 20 Christmas presents.
