With these free printable Earth Day Letter Dot Painting worksheets, your preschoolers will work on letter recognition and formation.
Earth Day literacy activities like this one are also a way to teach your young learners new vocabulary words such as recycle sign and bin.
As your kids color in the dots to form the letters, they will be developing their fine motor skills too.
This simple letter recognition activity can be used as morning work or a literacy center leading up to the holiday.
I like to have no-prep worksheets like these on hand when we have a few extra minutes too.

How To Use The Earth Day Alphabet Dot Painting Printables:
First, your preschoolers and kindergarteners will select a worksheet and identify the capital letter and picture on it.
You can teach your children the sound that the letter makes and explain that the picture begins with that sound.
Next, your kids will use a Bingo dauber to form the capital letter. They can color the picture with their crayons too.
Then, your students will trace over the capital letters at the bottom of the worksheet.
If you laminated the printables, your children can form the letter with pom poms, mini erasers, or counters.
They can then use dry erase markers to color the picture and trace over the letters.
These Earth Day Letter Dot Painting worksheets are a fun way for your kids to practice letter recognition and develop their fine motor skills this April.
