While making this craft, you can teach your kids the different sounds that the letter C makes and how “carrot” begins with one of the sounds.

• White Card Stock or Copy Paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Crayons

Next, download and print the black and white or color template.

Then, make as many copies as you need for your kids and gather all the other supplies that they will need to create this craft.

How To Make The C Is For Carrot Craft:

If your preschoolers are using the black and white templates, they will first color the letter C and the carrot top.

Instead of coloring, they can paint the parts or glue ripped pieces of orange and green paper to the letter and top.

After coloring, your kids will cut out the letter C and the carrot top.

They will then glue the carrot top on the letter C.

After your class has created their carrots, you can hang them on a bulletin board with the words “Come “C” Our Garden” or “C” How Much We Grow.”

This Letter C Carrot Craft is a creative activity for your preschoolers to make when they are learning about the letter C.
